A.G.E. INTERRUPTER

I normally wont mention new products unless I really believe in them.  This one is the case.  It is a new product out by SkinCeuticals called A.G.E. Interrupter.  It's targeted for woman over 40, to prevent and slow down the process of advanced glycation end-product (A.G.E) formation.  You may be wondering...What does this mean?   Glycation occurs when excess glucose molecules stick to collagen and elastin fibers, eventually binding them together and leading to the formation of Advanced Glycation End-products.  Glycated collagen and elastin fibers lose the ability to function normally and healthfully, which leads to severe wrinkling of the skin.  This product will be a key part of your home care, to prevent wrinkling, poor laxity, dry, aging skin. Revitalight Update

It's been 2 months now since I've been offering the LED light treatment, and I am happy to say it IS all that it's cracked up to be!  I have been getting beautiful results for my clients - plump, hydrated, smooth glowing skin!  I find the best way to acheive these results, is when the LED light is combined with a light peel, and done in a sequence of 6 treatments, 1 every 1-2 weeks.  This way you get rapid results and the maximum potential of what the treatment has to offer.

Exciting News!

A lot has been happening in the last few weeks. I completed an advanced training with ColoreScience, and I'm just as convinced as before what a great make-up line it is, but also a treatment for the skin. Finally a cosmetic line that is actually anti-aging while you look good wearing it! But more importantly protecting your skin from the sun - a true mineral make-up, a class of it's own. I'll focus more on ColoreScience later....
I also attended the 2008 Face and Body trade show at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. It was a fabulous show to say the least. It is always a highly motivating experience to be networking with estheticians from near and far. It was good to see that in these tough times, this industry is not suffering. There were thousands of anxious skin gurus waiting in long lines to get their hands on the latest and greatest. The vendors booths were decked out - bigger and better than I have ever seen. The best part for me was connecting with industry leaders and their product lines. Some product lines that were new to me, that I will be bringing into the treatment room, and some lines that I was already familiar with.
Perhaps the most exciting development from my journey at the trade show...I am happy to announce that I am bringing in Revitalight! Revitalight is a state-of-the-art instrument that uses LED pulse light to stimulate and regenerate skin cells and promote healing using specific light frequencies. It will address many concerns, such as fragile capillaries, hyper pigmentation, acne, lines and wrinkles and laxity. It will be a huge asset for my clients with sensitive skin or rosacea. It will compliment microdermabrasion or chemical peels, bringing those treatments to the next level - or can be done by itself in a facial.

love what I do. My passion for taking care of Skin is strong, but my passion for taking care of PEOPLE is stronger. True, most people have facials and skin care treatments for cosmetic reasons - They may want to "brighten up" for a special event, or try to turn back the clock on their aging skin.
